Apolonia has the most exciting and heart ranching life experience for a seven-year old track-and-field runner! She was born in the Dominican Republic where she had a normal and quiet life. But one day, her dad announced that he has accepted a job offer to be a Marine Biologist in the Seychelles Islands - a place far, far away. Apolonia thought that she would die from the heartache of leaving her home, her Abuelita and Abuelito, and her friends behind. Not knowing the language or anything about her new home, Apolonia had to travel across the globe to get to the Seychelles. On her first day of school, she was frightened and she cried because she did not know anyone at school. However, little did she know that her life was about to change for the best! She was about to meet her new best friend and fall in love with her new home. Take Apolonia home and discover the world through her eyes. Travel with her from her Santo Domingo to New York, to London and finally to the Seychelles. Learn the many languages and cultures and different time zones that Apolonia had to deal with. Each Vanange® doll is 19.4 inches tall. Her head, 1/3 of upper torso, arms and legs are made of high quality vinyl that is phthalates free. The lower 2/3 or her torso is made of 100% cotton and filled with polyester materials. The materials have been tested and certified in the US for stuffing cleanliness. The stuffing makes the doll soft and cuddling. The doll is articulated and fully poseable.
